Bookkeeper

Job duties

• Assist with monthly bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Support client communication and inquiries under the guidance of senior bookkeepers
• Contribute to the month-end closing process and report generation
• Assist with new property set-ups, move-outs, owner draws, and management fees
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 1 year of experience working with AppFolio (mandatory)
• At least 1 year of experience in real estate accounting/finance, ideally at an accounting firm working on real estate clients or directly at a real estate investment/development company
• Solid understanding of real estate accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Spanish)
• Willingness to learn and grow in the real estate accounting field
• Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools (Slack, Clickup, Workspace)

Location and schedule

This is a virtual (remote), full-time role available only to candidates located in Philippines

The position requires availability Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST
